The Thomasville High School Tigers varsity football team will host region opponent, the Cottage Hill Christian Warriors, at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22 at D.F. Anderson Field.

The THS varsity volleyball team won Sept. 14 at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill: 25-6, 25-17 and 25-20.
The THS JV volleyball team won Sept. 14 at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill: 25-12, 16-25 and 15-12.
Sheldon Collins, an eighth grade student at Thomasville Middle School, performed the National Anthem Sept. 12 at the United Way of Southwest Alabama 2023 Clarke County Annual Meeting at Grove Hill Methodist Church.

Parents of fourth graders Charlie Norris and Bo Martin donated snacks to the Care Closet at Thomasville Elementary School. Every day, there are students who forget their snack or don't have one to bring, and this ensures that every child gets an afternoon treat, and no child goes home hungry.
So many parents and people in our community have donated snacks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair bows, brushes, lotion, breakfast foods (for students who are tardy) and child-friendly food items that they can take home for the weekend. Thank you for loving our students! We could not do this without you!
If you would like to donate items (food items, socks, headbands, body wash, shampoo, etc) you can drop items off at TES.

Tryouts for the 2024 softball season will be Saturday, Sept. 30 at the softball complex. We will begin 9 a.m. and end around 11:30-12:00. Sign up for grades 9-12 is in the THS office and grades 7-8 is in the TMS office. Dress will be any type of Thomasville t-shirt and softball pants. Please have cleats and tennis shoes available. GO TIGERS!!!
