THS and TMS baseball tryouts are set for Dec. 2-5. Sign-up sheets are in the middle school and high school offices.

There will be an E-Learning Day on Tuesday, Nov. 26 with no in-school classes. There will also be no classes on Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving holidays.

UPDATE: THS softball fundraiser. $10 per calendar. Proceeds go toward player's spirit packs. See any softball player about purchasing one. All gifts can be picked up in the TES Main Office.

Updated THS basketball schedule 11-18-24 Season begins with home in-school games (no boys JV) at 1 p.m. on Dec. 2.

THS Tigers wrestling team begins the 24-25 season Nov. 22 and 23 at the Gulf Coast Clash in the Arthur R. Outlaw - Mobile Convention Center, One South Water St. The cost of admission is $20-per-person per day. Online tickets are available through GoFan. Tickets can be purchased at the door. First home date is hosting Flomaton and Satsuma on Dec. 9.

The THS Tigers varsity football team lost 45-33 to Houston Academy Nov. 15 at D.F. Anderson Field. A great season ends for the Tigers in the second round of the state playoffs.

The undefeated THS Tigers varsity football team (11-0) will host the Houston Academy Raiders of Dothan (10-1) in the second round of the Class 3A state playoffs at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 at D.F. No credit/debit cards will be accepted. Tickets can be purchased at the cash gate or electronically through GoFan. Ticket prices are established by the AHSAA and will be $12 each. No passes will be accepted at the gate unless they are issued by the AHSAA (coaching cards, admin. cards, media passes). As also established by the AHSAA, there will be no reserved seating available. NOTE: Season tickets are no good for the playoffs. All TCS employees have to pay unless they have coaching or admin. cards. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Go Tigers!

The Thomasville High School production of the classic play, "Charley's Aunt" by Brandon Thomas, will be presented Nov. 16-18 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Tickets are $10. Performances are Saturday at 7 p.m.; Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.; and Monday at 7 p.m. Call the Civic Center Box office at 334-637-3384 to reserve seats.

"Students of the Month" for October 2024 at Thomasville Elementary School include Keegan Buird, Pre-K; Landyn Irvin, Kindergarten; Samerra Blanks, First Grade; Ma'Xiyah Shamburger, Second Grade; Walter Drinkard, Third Grade; and August Cowan, Fourth Grade. "Students of the Month" T-shirts were donated by Southwest Alabama Screen Printing of Thomasville.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test will be given on Tuesday, Nov. 19 for any junior or senior. This is a standardized test that measures a person's aptitude, strengths, and potential for military careers. You can signup for the test in the THS Main Office.

BOOSTER CLUB MEETING!! THS Lady Tigers Softball Boosters will meet tonight, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the THS library. We had a great crowd last week so let’s do it again this week. GO TIGERS!!
