The Thomasville City Schools Calendar for 2025-2026 was approved March 25 by the Thomasville City Board of Education.
The THS Tigers track team will travel today, March 28, for a 1:45 p.m. meet at Covington County Park in Andalusia.
The THS Tigers varsity baseball team will host area opponent Wilcox Central Friday, March 28 with a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader at Donnie Fendley Field.

The THS varsity softball team won 7-3 March 27 at Leroy. Imani Brothers hit a 2-run home run.
The THS Tigers varsity baseball team beat area opponent Dallas County 20-0 March 27 at Donnie Fendley Field.
The THS JV softball team won 11-2 March 27 at Leroy.
The Wellness Committee of the Thomasville City Schools District will hold a meeting at 1:30 p.m. on March 31 in Thomasville High School's conference room. The purpose of the meeting is to review the wellness policy for physical activity and nutrition. Parents, students and members of the Thomasville community are encouraged to attend. The THS Lady Tigers JV and varsity softball teams will travel Thursday, March 27 to play Leroy High School. The JV game begins at 4 p.m.

Clarke County Special Olympics 2025 will be held April 29 at Legion Field in Jackson, Ala.
"Students of the Month" for February 2025 at Thomasville Elementary School: Colt Thompson, Pre-K; Charles Shoemaker, Kindergarten; Chayse Harris, First Grade; Kensleigh Sewell, Second Grade; Avery Usselman, Third Grade; and Karter Kirksey, Fourth Grade.
"Students of the Month" T-shirts were donated by Southwest Alabama Screen Printing of Thomasville.

Charlie Nordan and Kennedy Rice, juniors at Thomasville High School, have been chosen to represent the school at Boys State and Girls State.
Alabama Boys State will be held May 25-31 at the University of Alabama, and Alabama Girls State will be held June 1-6 at the University of Alabama.
