Tiger Nation Youth Soccer Camp, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 13 at D.F. Anderson Field. Camp is for Pre-K to sixth grade.
Students at Thomasville High School collected toys for needy children in our town during the month of December. Homerooms competed for the most toys donated. The annual toy drive was sponsored by the chapters of the National Technical Honor Society and the Future Business Leaders of America. The Arts Council of Thomasville’s annual Christmas concert will be Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Bedsole Theatre at the Thomasville Civic Center.
“Ring in the Season” will feature musical performances of the Flying Bricks Community Band, the Dickens Carolers and “Show Mode.”
“Show Mode” is a new youth choir made of young singers from Clarke and Marengo Counties. The program will be a mix of traditional Christmas music, newer music and novel arrangements of old favorites.
Admission to the concert is only $5 with those under 12 admitted free.
