Charlie Nordan and Kennedy Rice, juniors at Thomasville High School, have been chosen to represent the school at Boys State and Girls State.
Alabama Boys State will be held May 25-31 at the University of Alabama, and Alabama Girls State will be held June 1-6 at the University of Alabama.
The THS varsity softball team beat area opponent Southside Selma 19-1 March 26 at Jan Overstreet Field.
The THS varsity baseball team will host area opponent Dallas County at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 at Donnie Fendley Field.
