A coloring contest was held at Thomasville Middle School during Red Ribbon Week, and the Peer Helper campaign, "My Life as a Movie: Living the American Dream." The winners include La'Trinity Landrum, Lydia Webb and Aralyn Swanson. Emerson Stinson was not present for the photo.

The THS JV boys, Lady Tigers and varsity boys basketball teams will travel Wednesday, Dec. 4 to play at Linden High School. The JV boys game begins at 4:30 p.m.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel Friday, Dec. 6 for a 1:30 p.m. in-school meet at J.U. Blacksher High School in Uriah, Ala.

The Arts Council of Thomasville's annual Christmas Concert will be on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Thomasville Civic Center. "It's Christmas Time in the City" will feature the Flying Bricks Community Band, The Dickens Carolers and a combined choir for the finale. The music will be Christmas songs that you love as well as a few surprises.
