The Thomasville City Board of Education approved Jan. 25 an amended contract with Garth Moss, school superintendent.
The board meeting was held in the Thomasville Civic Center.
The board in a 3-to-2 vote did not renew Moss’ contract on Nov. 30, 2021.

In addition, the board will contract with the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB) in a search for the new school superintendent.
The board will advertise the job opening in the next few weeks.
