Thomasville City Schools will host a Parent Engagement Night, "Parents as Partners," at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the TMS Cafeteria.
We will have a guest speaker and door prizes.
THS Peer Helpers will be assisting in childcare during this event for school-aged children (K-6th).

The TMS Tigers football team won 20-18 Sept. 23 at UCS in Livingston.
There will be early release in the Thomasville City Schools District on Wednesday, Sept. 25: 11:45 a.m. at TES; noon at TMS/THS.
All school buses will run regular routes.
The TMS Tigers football team travels today, Sept. 23, to Livingston for a 6 p.m. game with University Charter School. The game will be played at University of West Alabama’s Tiger Stadium. Cash, credit/debit card and GoFan will be accepted at the gate.
The rehearsal for TCS Homecoming Youth Choir will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 in the THS cafeteria. Choir is for grades 5 to 12.

The Thomasville Middle School volleyball team lost Sept. 19 at Hale County in Moundville: 2 sets to 0.

TMS Book Fair will be held Oct. 7-11 in the school library.
The Thomasville City Schools District Truancy Council met Sept. 19 in the council chambers at Thomasville City Hall. The school district is committed to reducing truancy and unexcused absences at all three campuses in the school system. It is crucial for all students to not miss important days of instruction.
The Truancy Council will meet on the third Thursday of every month.
Students from grades 5 to 8 can enter.
By popular demand - the main artwork on the TCS Homecoming T-shirt is now on the back of the shirt. Order forms are in the offices of all three campuses. Support the yearbook and buy a shirt. Orders are due Sept. 27.
Fifth through 12th grade students are invited to join the TCS Homecoming Choir. Application deadline is Sept. 23. Sign up in the TMS and THS offices.
"Unity Night," a TCS Homecoming event, 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9 on the Thomasville High School Front Lawn.
The TMS volleyball team and the THS JV and varsity volleyball teams will travel Thursday, Sept. 19 to Moundville to play Hale County. The TMS game begins at 4 p.m.
