There will be a basketball parent meeting on Oct. 11 at 6:15 p.m., following the conclusion of Parenting Day, in the THS cafeteria. This includes varsity, JV, and middle school girls and boys teams.
The Book Fair continues through Oct. 7 in the Thomasville Middle School Library. "Pop in for a Book" event will be 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6.
ATTENTION: the TMS football game at 5 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Jackson's Legion Field will be the final game of the TMS season. The Oct. 17 at Linden has been cancelled.
The TMS and THS Lady Tigers volleyball teams will travel Tuesday, Oct. 4 to play at area opponent Excel High School. TMS match begins at 4 p.m.
Tickets are available at the gate, and cash is accepted.
The TMS football team won 36-28 Oct. 3 at Sweet Water.
There will be no classes in the Thomasville City Schools District on Oct. 10 and 11.
Breakfast and lunch will be free for all students in the Thomasville City Schools District starting October 2022 through May 2023.

Thomasville Middle School has released its basketball schedule for 2022-2023.
The Health Hero Flu Vaccine Clinic for TCS students is scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2022. The consent forms were sent home in August, and only those students who returned consent forms signed by a parent will receive the flu vaccine that day. If you have any questions or are not sure if you returned a form, please contact the school nurse.
The TMS volleyball team lost to University Charter School Sept. 27 in the THS gym: 3-25 and 16-25.
The TMS football team lost 26-0 to Jackson Sept. 26 at D.F. Anderson Field.
Students will be released early in the Thomasville City Schools District on Wednesday, Sept. 28: TES, 12:15 p.m.; TMS/THS, 12:30 p.m. Buses will run regular routes.
TMS Homecoming Dress Out Schedule 2022
The TMS Homecoming Dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the school gym.
TMS students are allowed to dress out Sept. 23 in a Spirit shirt and jeans for a $1 fee.
TES and TMS is sending home letters concerning tutoring. Forms need to be returned by Wednesday, Sept. 28. Tutoring will begin Tuesday, Oct. 4 and will go through Dec. 8.
Tutoring will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Students must be picked up by 4 to continue in the tutoring program.
ATTENTION: Chicken fingers sold by the THS football program will be delivered to the football field for pickup at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22.
