FREE Athletic Physicals for all students grades 6-11 who plan to participate in athletics next school year are scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. at Thomasville Regional Medical Center.
Please pick up a form from the school office or the nurse, complete the front side, have student and parent sign (in INK), and return it to the school nurse at TMS/THS as soon as possible. All pre-physical assessments will need to be completed by the school nurse before going to the hospital to see the doctor.

The Wellness Committee of the Thomasville City Schools District will hold a meeting at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 in the Thomasville High School Library. The purpose of the meeting is to review the wellness policy for physical activity and nutrition. Parents, students and members of the Thomasville community are encouraged to attend. Scoliosis Screening
The Alabama State Department of Education and the Alabama Department of Public Health requires that school districts in Alabama OFFER and provide scoliosis screening for male and female students in grades 5-9 annually.
This screening will be held between May 9 and May 18, 2023. Please return the forms by May 5, 2023. The forms will be sent home this week to all 5th-9th grade students. If you have any questions, contact Candy Thompson, RN, Lead Nurse, at 334-636-4928.
