The THS Tigers varsity baseball team will host Cottage Hill in a doubleheader on Friday, April 18 for the first round of the Class 3A state playoffs at Donnie Fendley Field. Games will be at 5 and 7:30 p.m. There will be a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, April 19 if necessary.
Tickets are $12 for the Friday doubleheader; $10 for the if necessary game on Saturday.
Cash or GoFan will be accepted at the gate.
Basketball tryouts for boys will be held on April 30 in the THS gym. Middle school tryouts will be right after school, and the junior varsity and varsity tryouts will be held at 4 p.m.
Members of the ACT 20-Plus Club for 24-25 were announced April 15 at Thomasville High School. The students scored 20 points or higher on the ACT.
The THS JV and Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball Banquet is set for 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 at New Greater First Baptist Church.
Admission is $15 for parents and the public.
The THS Tigers golf team shot 174 against University Charter School (218) on April 14 at the Thomasville Golf and Recreation Club. The Tigers won by 44 strokes. Carson Hines had the lowest (best) score of the day with 39, which means he medaled the tournament.
Basketball tryouts for middle school and THS girls will be held at 3:05 p.m. on April 29 in the THS gym.
The THS Lady Tigers varsity softball team won 18-2 April 14 at area opponent Southside Selma.

"Daddy" Warbucks and the cast of the musical "Annie" are coming to Thomasville Tiger Nation! Performances featuring students from the Thomasville City Schools District will be presented to the public at 7 p.m. on April 26, 2 p.m. on April 27 and 7 p.m. on April 28 in the Thomasville Civic Center.
