The THS varsity softball team won 9-6 April 22 at Demopolis High School.

"Leapin' Lizards!" The musical "Annie" is coming to Thomasville Tiger Nation! Maize Lolley has been added to the ACT 20-Plus Club for 24-25 at Thomasville High School. The students scored 20 points or higher on the ACT.


The Alabama State Department of Education and the Alabama Department of Public Health requires that school districts in Alabama OFFER and provide scoliosis screening for male and female students in grades 5-9 annually.
This screening will be held the week of May 5, 2025. Please return the forms by May 2, 2025. Forms can be obtained in the front office or on our website under Health Services. If you would like a consent form sent home, please contact the school nurse at TMS. If you have any questions, contact Candy Thompson, RN, Lead Nurse, at 334-636-4451.

The THS Tigers golf team competed against Excel and J.U. Blacksher on April 21 at the Thomasville Golf and Recreation Club.
THS won the match with a score of 176. Carson Hines medaled with a 41.

A signing ceremony was held April 21 for Alex Schreiner, a senior at Thomasville High School, in the school library. He has been awarded a Famous Maroon Band scholarship at Mississippi State University in Starkville, which secures his position in the marching band. He also received a full academic scholarship and has been accepted in Shackouls Honors College at MSU.
“This year as Drum Major, he has contributed a lot as far as leadership,” said James Boyett, THS Band Director. Schreiner was in the Thomasville City Schools band program for seven years. He played trombone. “As a player, he has really stepped up in the last couple of years and done really well. I’m really proud of him.”
Schreiner is also the Salutatorian of the THS Class of 2025.


The THS Lady Tigers softball team will host the Class 3A, Area 4 tournament on Monday, April 28 at Jan Overstreet Field. Thomasville will begin play at noon against the winner of Southside Selma and Dallas County.

The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers varsity softball team will participate Saturday, April 19 in the Pleasure Island Showdown at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex (19025 Oak Road W. in Gulf Shores, Ala.).
On Saturday, the Lady Tigers will play Chattanooga Christian at 8 a.m. (Field 2) and Gulf Shores at 10 a.m. (Field 1).
