The Thomasville High School chapter of HOSA (Future Health Professionals) has received a $500 donation from Lifesouth Community Blood Centers. The HOSA chapter recently sponsored a successful Lifesouth blood drive.

The Wellness Committee of the Thomasville City Schools District will hold a meeting at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 in the Thomasville High School Library. The purpose of the meeting is to review the wellness policy for physical activity and nutrition. Parents, students and members of the Thomasville community are encouraged to attend. The 2024 Clarke County Distinguished Young Woman program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Tickets are $10 each and will be available at the door.
Two students from Thomasville High School will compete:
• Caniya Burroughs will be dancing for her talent. Her little sister is India Alise Ward.
• Maura Kate Morris will be performing a monologue for her talent. Her little sister is Anna Kate Jones.
