The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers softball team will host the annual Jan Overstreet Tournament on Feb. 17 and 18 at the Nathan Stephens Sports Complex. Teams participating are Sweet Water, J.U. Blacksher, W.S. Neal, Excel, Leroy, Millry and T.R. Miller.
Thomasville will play Sweet Water at 4 p.m. on Friday, and THS will play W.S. Neal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
THS will play Blacksher at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The annual Cancer Survivors and Commemoration Ceremony will be held on Saturday after the second game of the morning, likely at 12:15 p.m.

The THS varsity boys basketball team adds another winning plaque to the trophy case in the school lobby with their win Feb. 9 in the area tournament championship. But the job is not finished. The THS boys will host a sub-regional game, either Feb. 13 or 14. More details later.
Members of the Thomasville High School Tigers wrestling team will participate Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at the state Sectionals Tournament at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery.
