The THS varsity baseball team will travel today, April 7, to play area opponent Excel High School at Excel's Murphy Park. First pitch is at 5 p.m. Tickets will be available at the gate.
ATTENTION: the Junior Varsity Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, April 9 at Sweet Water High School, has been cancelled.
ATTENTION: the THS softball date with area opponent Excel on Thursday, April 7 will include a varsity game only at 4:30 p.m.
FREE Vaccination Clinic for TMS/THS
All students entering sixth grade will require a dose of Tdap (tetanus-diphtheria toxoid & acellular pertussis) vaccine. HNH Immunizations Inc. is offering a FREE vaccination clinic at Thomasville Middle School on Monday, May 2, 2022. Consent forms are being sent home with all fifth grade students as well as those in upper grades who have not had the Tdap vaccine. They are also offering the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) and Meningococcal vaccines for anyone grades 5-12. You can request a consent form by contacting the school nurse. Please complete the consent form and return to the school by Wednesday, April 27, 2022, if you would like for your child to participate. Contact Nurse Thompson if you have any questions.
There will be in-person classes on Wednesday, April 6 in the Thomasville City Schools District.
"Mom Prom" Mother and Son Dance has been rescheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 in the THS gym.
The THS Beauty Review 2022 will be held at 7 p.m. on April 23 in the Thomasville Civic Center.
There will be a "First Impressions" event at 7 p.m. on April 22 at the Civic Center.
Due to the threat of severe weather, Tuesday, April 5 will be a "Virtual Day" in the Thomasville City Schools District. There will be no in-person instruction and no extracurricular activities. Laptop computers or paper schoolwork will be available for lower grades.
The THS JV softball team will participate April 9 in the Sweet Water Round Robin Tournament.
