9-3-2021 Thomasville City Schools Parents, With an increase in the Covid cases, we are exploring the possibility of offering a virtual school option through a private company for interested parents. This option would use the company's teachers to instruct your child. If you choose this option your child would be locked into the virtual option for a full semester. Please fill out the following survey so that we can gauge how much interest there is in this virtual option. Thank you, Garth Moss Superintendent NOTE: Please complete a form for each child you are interested in attending virtual school. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdJNpgpD22tWyt-HWDxF4cmSgCM2mjykaM9LlvUC9_9F0cNag/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0

Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 Important message from the superintendent of the Thomasville City Schools District: Good afternoon Tiger family. I wanted to alert everyone that we are going to shut down Thomasville Elementary School at the end of business today. The shutdown will be for two weeks, and the plan is to reopen Thomasville Elementary School on Sept. 7. We have had an uptick in positive Covid cases at TES, and out of an abundance of caution and safety for our students and employees, we feel that this is the best course of action to take at this time. We will continue to monitor Thomasville High and Thomasville Middle Schools over the coming days. Our desire is to keep our students safe and in school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Garth Moss Superintendent
