
Homecoming at TES


ATTENTION: teachers will have report cards at Parenting Day, Tuesday, Oct. 15, and others will be sent home on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The TCS Homecoming Parade will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 in downtown Thomasville. We need community support. The parade needs entries from the community and local businesses. Call the THS Main Office to enter.

ATTENTION: deadline extended until noon on Monday, Sept. 30 for orders of the Thomasville City Schools Homecoming T-shirt. Orders can be made in all three campus offices. Don't miss your chance to order! You can pay with credit/debit card in the THS Main Office.

Today is the last day to order a TCS Homecoming shirt. Forms are in all three campus offices. Funds support the Yearbook.



Thomasville City Schools will host a Parent Engagement Night, "Parents as Partners," at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the TMS Cafeteria.
We will have a guest speaker and door prizes.
THS Peer Helpers will be assisting in childcare during this event for school-aged children (K-6th).
Mission for the Event: To build strong bridges between parents and educators while fostering open communication and shared goals for overall student achievement and success.

There will be early release in the Thomasville City Schools District on Wednesday, Sept. 25: 11:45 a.m. at TES; noon at TMS/THS.
All school buses will run regular routes.

The Thomasville City Schools District Truancy Council met Sept. 19 in the council chambers at Thomasville City Hall. The school district is committed to reducing truancy and unexcused absences at all three campuses in the school system. It is crucial for all students to not miss important days of instruction.
The Truancy Council will meet on the third Thursday of every month.


TES PTO meeting moved to 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 in the school cafeteria.


"Unity Night," a TCS Homecoming event, 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9 on the Thomasville High School Front Lawn.

September is Attendance Awareness Month.

Believe Kids Fundraiser ends this Friday, Sept. 20 at Thomasville Elementary School. Please have ALL order forms turned in by Friday morning.

September is Attendance Awareness Month.


Students at TCS will have flu vaccines available from HNH Immunizations, Inc. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at each school. Consent forms are being sent home this week, and students will only be vaccinated if they have a form completed and signed by the parent/guardian. If you need another form, please contact your school nurse.
