The Thomasville City Board of Education approved $329,640.00 Oct. 10 for the purchase of three new air conditioned Thomas Saf-T-Liner school buses from Transportation South of Pelham, Ala.
The school board met for a brief special called meeting in the Thomasville High School Library.
In other action from the meeting, the following personnel actions were approved:

Mariah Luker, teacher at Thomasville Elementary School;
Lesley Megginson, teacher at TES;
(Employment in Positions)
Mary Harris, teacher at TES;
Mallory Thompson Clark, teacher at TES;
(TEAMS contract)
Kimberly Smith.
The next meeting of the school board will be held at 5 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the THS library. The public is invited.
