- Each student must have 4 credits of math which must include Algebra I and
Geometry or its equivalent to earn a high school diploma.
- Each student must also pass the math portion of the Alabama High School
Graduation Exam.
- Beginning with the class of 2012, in order to earn an Advanced Diploma,
students must pass Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II with Trigonometry and
another math class, preferably Algebra III with Statistics or Pre-Calculus.
- In order to earn an Honors Diploma, students must pass Algebra I, Geometry,
Algebra II with Trigonometry, Algebra III with Statistics and Pre-Calculus.
- There are several course sequences in which a student can earn the four
credits in mathematics for graduation.

available.
