 | The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) of Thomasville
Elementary School would like to say thank you to all the new members and
members returning from last year. If you have not yet joined, you still have
time.
The membership drive contest will continue until September 18, 2009.
After that you can still join; however, until that
date you have the opportunity to help your child's class be the top homeroom in
his/her grade for the most memberships. The winning homeroom in each grade will
have a pizza party. The children really get into the competition. |
| The PTO is a vital part of assisting TES with many project
that help make our school better. In the past we have helped with play ground
equipment, music instruments, academic enhancements, and more. This year we
hope to help again with equipment for P.E., music supplies, art supplies, and
assist with AMSTI. We are also open for additional suggestions. The Christmas
float is one of our big projects and we help with decorations and/or supplies
for the PTO programs our children perform for us. |
| These are made possible by you. We do fund-raisers to raise
money to pay for these projects. We also help arrange for volunteers when
needed. If would like to volunteer, we would love to have you. Even the
smallest amount of time is appreciated. |
